Each issue brings together contributions from IAEVG members and affiliates across countries and regions, reflecting the diversity and richness of perspectives within our global network. Whether you're a practitioner, researcher, policymaker, or student, the magazine offers accessible, relevant content to support your professional development.

The magazine plays a vital role in promoting the IAEVG mission: to advance career, educational and vocational guidance and counselling globally through ethical, inclusive, and evidence-informed practices. It complements our scientific journal by offering a more informal, accessible platform for sharing experiences and professional insights.

Theme: Digital developments in guidance

We welcome your contributions to this theme, whether they focus on national initiatives or provide an international perspective. Articles can explore the development, implementation and impact of digital technologies (including artificial intelligence), highlight good practice and innovative approaches, or present research. Contributions will be featured in "From around the World" section. Your insights will be invaluable to our global community of guidance professionals.

Guidelines for authors

”From around the World” Section

The "From Around the World" section aims to showcase developments, events, and innovations in guidance and career development from different countries and regions. Contributions do not need to relate to the issue’s main theme—all relevant insights are welcome. We welcome contributions from all our members —practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders in the field. 

Please structure your contribution as follows:

  1. Title – Clear and concise (max. 100 characters, including spaces).
  2. Main Text – Max. 500 words in total, including any references or further readings/links
    (if including a photo, please limit the text to 350 words)
    • Briefly describe the development, event or initiative.
    • Focus on its relevance to guidance and career development.
    • Share key outcomes or lessons learned, if available.
    • Write in a factual and neutral tone (not promotional).
    • Include further reading reference or link where more information is available.
  3. Author Information (max. 20 words)
    • Name, country, and role or organization.
    • Example: Maria Lopez, Career Guidance Practitioner at XYZ, Spain.
    • Photograph
    • High-resolution image (JPEG or PNG).

What Not to Include

  • Commercial content or advertisements.
  • Long reports or press releases (summarize instead).

Subject line: From Around the World – [Country/Region]

We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, and style. The author will be notified if substantial edits are needed.
