19-21 October, 2021 Riga, Latvia Maximizing Potential of Career Guidance

the 44th IAEVG international conference. Spend three inspiring days exploring how career guidance can maximize the potential of individuals and communities, education and economies!


For the first time in the 70-year history of the IAEVG the Riga international conference will be an online event. In light of ongoing COVID safety concerns and to ensure the safety and peace of mind of participants, the IAEVG board and the Riga conference organizers have agreed that the IAEVG International Conference will be held online. All existing registrations stand and previously submitted proposals will be honored. The conference proceedings will be published electronically and provided to all the participants who paid their fees. The live sessions will be recorded, and the recordings will be available for 1 year to attendees.
Join us online and share and discover research and experience, deliver and take part in presentations and workshops, recharge your intellectual and emotional batteries. Together through professional and scientific exchanges we can rise as a community of practice to meet the challenges of contemporary society.

IAEVG WEBINAR 2020: HOPE IN ACTION - APPLYING AN INTEGRATED COUNSELLING / COACHING APPROACH

PURPOSE:


During these challenging times there is a need for compassion coupled with hope and positive action. This is a time for moving forward with a stance of “positive uncertainty”. Hope-Action Theory provides a dynamic, competency based approach to career development. In this session Dr. Amundson and Andrea Fruhling will use Hope-Action Theory to illustrate how an integration of career counselling and career coaching practices can be used as a framework for effective career development.
